Nutrition tip: Try this Tactic
Instead of going for straight sugar, why not add some protein to your
de s s e r t s to ba l ance out the carbohydrate/ protein ratio.
When you add protein to any
carbohydrate, the carbohydrate (in the form of sugar, starch, fruit, etc)
digests slower in your bloodstream.This is good! Your insulin response
isn’t as rapid. (insulin increases fat storage)
